What is HexGen: Cyberpunk?

In HexGen: Cyberpunk you play a proxy. Proxies are Player Characters (PCs) controlled by the Players. Each player controls a single proxy, while the Architect (AC) controls all Non-Player Characters (NPCs). In the game, proxies are go-betweens, agents, and operators who handle things for their clients, often bending or breaking the law. Proxies typically consider themselves as rebels and mercenaries who are trying to survive in a world gone mad.

Your proxy can be motivated by all the same things most people are motivated by – wealth and power, personal goals and adventure or affection, family and friends. Proxies have a unique Background and a selection of Skills, Character Upgrades, Cybernetics and Equipment that make each proxy a distinctive individual. When building a Team or Proxies, discuss openly what kind of a proxy you would like to play. In HexGen, all Character Creation options are open to all proxies.
